Sneaky Peek — Day #2 – The Cat's Pajamas PaperArts

It’s Day #2 of Sneaky Peek Week and I hope you liked yesterday’s peek. I know I did, and The Cat Pack made some incredible cards. But, hang onto your hats because today’s Sneaky Peek is one of my favorites. It features a sweet little bear who gets carried away. Literally. And, I call it “I are fun”. This set and the CutUps and Cutables featured this week will be available on May 26.

I am in love with this image because it reminds me of days at the zoo and circus. There was always a balloon vendor walking around carrying a HUGE bouquet of balloons. To this day I wonder how they managed NOT to float away.

Now onto the cards.

First up is Lisa Henke. She chose a simple, graphic paper and die cut out the Stitched Clouds CutUps. (You get the Stitched Clouds CutUps FREE starting on May 26 for any order over $65). That left time for more important things, like coloring up this silly bear and the placing of sequins.

If you are not into sequins, but are into round dot thingies, this card by Lori Tecler is the ticket. She uses the Wavy Stitched Border to create a fun border of color. The stitching goes perfectly with the Stitched Clouds. She stamps one of the four sentiments that come in the stamp set and floats the bear above it. Super cute.

Deborah Anton knows how to make her stamps and patterned paper work for her too. Just a few clouds and a sentiment are needed when your bear is colored as sweetly at this one is. I love how she colored the belly.

Christine Okken does a little paper piecing on her beautifully colored bear. I love how she tucked in the clouds between the layers of paper. What a great idea.
