Woo Hoo! It’s Day #7 of Sneaky Peek Week! When I was in Canada recently, I had to see the sweet Giant Pandas at the Calgary Zoo. They were in a glass room where we were able to get really really close to them. I fell in love. Their sweet, serene faces and chubby little bodies …squeee! What’s not to love? Granted, most of the “chub” was fur. After all, how can you get chubby on leaves and shoots, right? So, in honor of Er Shun, Da Mao, Jia YueYue and Jia PanPan I present to you, I’m not fat.
Here’s the inside of the card. It just leaves me gob-smacked. I’m going to head on over to her blog to see how she did this. She uses the leaves from the Rectangular Stamp CutUps to create the tree where she stamped the swing from the Hugs Needed Stamp Set. The background was created using the Great Outdoors Stencilz. To top it off, this card moves! Finally, she added the Celebrate die from the Celebration Toppers CutUps.
It was love at Furst sight for me, too, when I saw this card by Kerry Urbatch. She used the heart from the New Stuck on You CutUps Die to cut the hearts from the top layer of the card. She stamped some of the hearts from the set to create the sweet background and added the spatters. To top everything off, is the sentiment and Valentine giving panda. Sweet.
I love that slanted check that Julee Tilman creates on this card with the New Pattern Builder. When I was younger, I loved getting cards with my new age on them. (Now, not so much) So, I know that that special 8-year-old will love getting this card. She used the NEW Shakey Numbers for the “8″
Finally, Cristena Bagne’s adorable card. She uses the hearts in the cards to stamp up the background and the treat box. They create a wonderful backdrop for this bashful bear.
