My dad is 100 years old. He doesn’t use a cane and is in great shape. We credit his great health to the great outdoors. Gardening, to be specific. He’s been in his garden every day since he retired, gardening or just sitting in it, enjoying all that is green and growing. So, this Sneaky Peek is in his honor. Today, we are Sneaky Peeking Hey Neighbor & the Farm Duo CutUps.
I love the soft pastel ombre that Christine Okken created using sponges over her white embossed frame. She stamped up the sweet farmer pig from the NEW Hey Neighbor Stamp Set on the matching dies. Did I mention you can get the bundle at a 10% discount?
Do you love the ombre look as much as I do? Then, you will love this card by Wendy McGaffey. She stamped the frame in white and embossed on bristol smooth cardstock and used oxide distress ink with Tim Holtz’ blender sponges. Then, layered it on top of kraft paper. She added the sentiment and carrots for even more fun.
I loved the sweet little characters in this set so much that I had to design a die for them. This NEW Farm Duo Die is that set. It’s actually a 2 piece die that features a homey embroidery stitch on the outside of the circle. The inside cuts an early morning farm scene including the roster. Inside of die cutting Brenda Nakandakari embosses it for a classic look.
When I saw this darling little animal, I fell in love. What is not to love about a donkey in galoshes gardening in the mushrooms? Especially, when Rebekah Weckerly works her copic magic. Spectacular!
Finally, this card by Nancy Thomas using both the NEW Hey Neighbor & the Farm Duo CutUps. Here you can really see how AWESOME this die is. It cut out all the pieces in the scene for easy paper piecing. The sentiment is from the Hey Neighbor Stamp Set.
That’s it for now. I really hope you liked the cards The Cat Pack designed for this release. Remember to check out their blogs for more details on their cards.
