It’s Day #5 of Sneaky Peek Week! The tree is at the heart of any Christmas celebration. I love picking out a tree from a lot, that let’s me put out my collection of ornaments that seems to grow each year. Decorating it always take HOURS, starting with wrapping each branch with lights so that it sparkles and shines. For my Christmas cards, I certainly don’t want that, but I want them to sparkle and shine. So, our Christmas Tree Lot Stamp Set is perfect for that
Think of it as a Christmas Tree Lot where you can pick the perfect tree to make sparkle and shine. You get 4 different trees to choose from with a couple of embellishments to make your cards even more special.
Brenda Nakandakari stamps up this tree and gives it a chalkboard look. She uses one of the flourishes in the set as the trunk of the tree and embellishes the card with cutouts from the Oh Christmas Tree Dies
The holidays would not be the same without Burl Ives singing about silver and gold. It’s a classic. And, Nancy Thomas creates two cards that are classic
Here’s the gold one. This big tree stamps and embosses beautifully, especially if you use detail embossing powder. You don’t need much more than that except a couple of snowflakes and holeless sequins.
Here’s the silver version. It has a little gold in it too, but the silver is the star. It would be so easy to do many of this card and leave you more time to decorate the tree.
Here’s a modern take on a this classic set from Deborah Anton. Simple brushed circles of color give this card that arty flair. Embellished with a simple holly sprig with a strip of silver for shine and this card is perfect.
Finally, here is Leigh O’Brien’s stunning card. She stamps and embossed the card on a dark background and embellishes it using the Oh Christmas Tree Bundle. Everything gets placed on wood grain paper. That’s Vintage Leigh. SQUEEE!
