July Blog Hop

Blog Hop

It’s been an exciting Sneaky Peek Week! And, to cap it off, we are having a final Blog Hop in order to celebrate it.

If you came here from Nancy Thomas’ blog you’ve reached the end of the hop. If you didn’t, or want to see it again, hop over to Rebekah Weckerly’s blog. That’s the beginning of the hop.

I’m channeling Melissa Chipperfield with her clean and simple, sophisticated style. Clean and simple  is HARD! 😉  I have such a hard time with it, but for once I think I pulled it off using the NEW Sketchy Santas Stamp Set and NEW Happy Holidays CutUps. I cut the sentiment 3x and layered them up so that it has dimension. I stamped the Santa with Versafine Clair Nocturne and colored him with brush markers. NEW Clear Holographic Holeless Sequins add a bit of sparkle.

But, wait! There’s MORE! I LOVE the NEW Village Snowglobe Duo Die and knew that it would be perfect for an Inside Tunnel card. This card creates great dimension, and folds flat so that it fits easily in the envelope. I used the Hill & Dale CutUps to create more hills and the snowflakes are from the NEW Joyeux Noel CutUps.

Tunnel Closeup

I thought the card could use more color, so I used the NEW Great Outdoors Stencil and the NEW Big Beautiful Blending Brush to create the cloud background. Glitter and Holeless Sequins finish off the card.

I’ll be posting a video shortly, showing how I created this card.

I hope you liked Sneaky Peek Week and this hop. It’s been so much FUN putting it all together. If you want to take a second look at all the lovelies The Cat Pack created for the hop, check out the links below.
