YAY! It’s the official Release Day for our Winter in July Collection. If you’ve been patient, and want the entire collection at a discount, the Kitty Kat Pack is now available. If you just want the Poochie Pack, just the stamps at a discount, that’s available, too.
Before I go further, I would like to give a really big thanks to the ULTRA talented Leigh O’Brien. You KNOW I have ALWAYS been a fan of hers and I am honored that she was able to join us in this release. She has done some really fabulous cards, so check them out again, if you can. She rocks it out!
If you’ve come here from Cristena Bagne‘s blog you are in the right place. If you didn’t, then head back to the beginning of the hop, at Kerry Urbatch’s blog.
When Melissa Chipperfield first suggested the Peek-A-Boo Frames I immediately thought of an Advent Calendar. I thought it would be really great to have boxes that you could access using the little doors. As for the boxes….EVERYONE likes presents!
So, I went to the Dollar Tree and picked up 12 of their little wood drawers. I measured each of the boxes and drawers and cut paper to cover the front.
I used the Peek-A-Boo Frames to cut each of the doors and then used the Silly Numbers CutUps to cut numbers for each of the doors.
I glued the rows of the boxes together to form a tree, and then covered the openings with the paper squares. I didn’t glue the rows together so it would be easier to pack and to move it into different configurations. I kinda like the boxes askew.
Then, I cut out some green and red gnomes. They are so fun to give different personalities just by how you place their beard and hat and nose.
Then for a little more decoration, I used the Oh Christmas Tree Bundle to cut and stamp out the greenery and clustered them with the gnomes.
