It’s Swanky Stamper Time

9 / 10 / 159 / 10 / 15
September 2015June Swart— September Swanky Stamper

In my opinion, one of the most beautiful color combos is the rainbow spectrum. There is something so joyful about it. The colors always seem so hopeful. Everything about the rainbow color combination is true about this card by June Swart.

She creates a beautifully colored background and uses the Space Cadet stamp set to create this bold card. It makes a strong statement and an equally strong card. But, it is still  hopeful and joyful. This is one to case for sure.

Now, take a look at these other pretties that were entered this month.

Lifes_a_Beach_Retirement_Cindy_Major_by_cindy_canada

Cindy Major adds pleating to her card and it works beautifully with the Life’s a Beach bunny.

Here’s a stunning card by Indy that I am sure to case. She uses the same bunny from Life’s a Beach but she makes the umbrella a shaker card. Brilliant

And, last but not least, this crazy cute card by Julie Elak. It’s a simple card, beautifully colored. Check out the hint of pink on the bunny’s ears.

Now, it’s your turn. Enter the TCP Tuesday Challenges and you could be Swanky Stamper!

August Swanky Stamper — Brenda Nakandakari

8 / 3 / 15

August

One of my all time favorite sets is this one called “Fun in the Sun“. It’s a pretty versatile set with lots of fun stamps like this one. I love the inner tube and this little penguin almost as much as I love this card by Brenda Nakandakari. This card is what Summer is all about. Beach, water, sun and fun. I love the waves that Brenda cleverly created, and the how she stamped the sentiment on the Cloud Border. This card just does it for me, in a big way.

CC541TCProsier-1

Another card that I loved last month, was this pretty by Tricia Traxler. Her white on white card using Drop In is just so soft and pretty.

2015-07-27+07.22.03

I always am amazed at the creativeness of our customers. Like this card by Joan V. She made this bunny her own by how she colored the outfit of the bunny. I’m digging the stripe on the tank top.

6a00e54eeec8a1883401b8d142c3ec970c-500wi

Carole Burrage adds her very special touch to this card using Under the Stars. It’s perfect for the season, and I just love thinking about these two friends chatting and looking at the stars.

Now what can you do? Tomorrow, we’ll be posting a NEW Challenge. And, that means another chance to win. And if that weren’t enough, you could win a $50 gift certificate by playing in our Summer Blog Hop. Just  add your card or project to our InLinkz on the right by August 27 and you could win. Winner announced on August 30

Tricia Traxler – July Swanky Stamper

7 / 7 / 15

July 2015

If there is one thing I love, it’s textures and patterns and colors. Nothing can make my jaw drop faster than a card that mixes all three of these things I love, like this Swanky Stamper winning card by Tricia Traxler. She uses “Drop In” to create a whimsical scene, and mixes patterns in the panels that float behind the bunny, and texture with an embossed background. Then, she finishes the card off with grass and stitched clouds for extra texture. LOVE!

JoanV

Also in the LOVE column is this card by Joan V using Birdhouses and the stamp set that goes with. Check out the texture in the posts! SQUEEE!

Indy

Also, worth a Squee or two is this card by Indy! The bunny travels all over the world in his beautifully patterned balloon. I would love to float alongside him.

Brenda1

Brenda also uses this bunny, but he is heading only one way. Up. That’s because Brenda Nakandakari  uses the Slider die to make this card extra special.

BrendaNHere it is completely slid open. I am crazy about the different color paper she placed above the cloudline and the stitched clouds she added to the balloon.

Now it’s your turn. Play along with our sketch challenge and you could win a future release of dies and stamps. Need a little creative push? Download the FREE cutting and .pdf files

June Swanky Stamper — Cindy Major

6 / 2 / 156 / 10 / 15

JuneSwanky-StamperIf you checked in yesterday, you might have noticed the Website was down. Unfortunately, we had to delay announcing our June Swanky Stamper. So, without further ado…..

Cindy Major— June Swanky Stamper

At the Cat’s Pajamas, we are constantly amazed at the creativity of our stampers. This sweet card was created by Cindy Major. Cindy hails from a French speaking part of the world, Canada. Though, our images are paired with English sentiments in our sets, she pairs them with French sayings, which I think is terrific. Her lovely card uses Got Love and it has a very romantic feeling about it. I don’t know if it’s the distressing, or the dreamy color choice or the pretty rose trim, or the sweet paper piecing in the bouquet, I just fall in love with this card over and over again.

JUN15VSNMINI1-andreasscraps

Also drool worthy is this ATC by Andrea C. She stamped up the Patterned Petals on acetate for a lovely spring card.

DSC_0085

This entry by Indy for the Sketch challenge just makes me smile. All the different patterns of papers and a spotted bunny, make Alma a really happen gal.

2015-05-27+10.10.10

And, this fun card by Joan V. This card reminds me of the opening credits of “That Girl”. So many places these penguins have been and so many places there are still left to visit. Such a fun card

Celeste Goff— May Swanky Stamper

5 / 4 / 155 / 4 / 15

May 2015

I love simple cards. Especially when they are as well designed as this one by Celeste Goff. She stamped up the Sock Monkey from Sock It To Me, and colored him to perfection. But, it was her perfect selection of paper and her stitched lines that grabbed me. Even the tilt of the panel suggests “patches” and fabric. Love, Love, Love!

Celeste wins one of our entire future releases!

TCPTuesColor416

There was lots of delicious goodness this month. I picked this wonderful card using Simple Blooms AND this sweet card using What A Blast, before I realized that they were BOTH by Tricia Traxler

DSCF0547

Andrea C’s card really is so bright and happy! She uses the Wavy Stitched Border in a really unique way. Her stamped flowers from Patterned Petals add more texture and color.

TCPTUES288-andreasscraps2

I can’t wait to see what the players come up with this month. The  TCP Tuesday Challenge is a good one.

Tricia Traxler—April Swanky Stamper

4 / 7 / 15

TriciaTraxler

Each month, I am constantly awed and amazed by the beauty of the cards and projects that are entered in our challenges. And, this month was no different. It was hard to choose, but this month Tricia Traxler entered twice and both of her cards were stunning. For this soft and pretty card she used the Simple Blooms stamp set. Embossing the stamps in clear embossing powder and sponging color over the flowers creates a jaw dropper of a card.

TCP+TUES

Here’s the second of Tricia’s cards using Rise & Shine (out of stock). It’s a beauty. She paper pieced the umbrella and colored it to give dimension.

Indy

How about this shaker card by Indy? It has so much sparkle and I am in love with the Icing die all dressed up in silver.

Maye

This card by Maye uses one of our retired stamp sets, but it’s a goody! She even makes one of the stamps create a “forest” of hearts.

Milka

And lastly, this piece of assemblage art by Milka. It doesn’t have any Cat’s Pajamas stamps, but I don’t mind. This is a wonderfully layered shadow box full of treasures.

March Swanky Stamper — Linsey Rickett

3 / 5 / 153 / 10 / 15

March 2015

Linsey Rickett— March Swanky Stamper

I love a pretty card. And, this one by Linsey Rickett is just so, so pretty. It’s so elegant and shabby chic. Just a simple sentiment from our Simple Blooms stamp set, on a doily and embossed background, set off with a bouquet of blooms and a sprinkling of sequins. A bit of twine tied this one up for Linsey.

There were lots of entries to pick from, and I am sorry for the delay in getting this post up. Here are several cards that deserve notice.

ccbunny1

It’s not Christmas, but Brenda Nakandakari is STILL Raising Cane. Love the big fat green button and the double fishtails, not to mention her awesome coloring.

TCPTUESFEBCOLOR

Tricia Traxler’s beautifully colored scene with the Frame turned on it’s side is a perfect backdrop to the penguin flying in to save the day.

Sketch+Saturday+02-14-15+Angela P’s card just cracks me up. Her bunny is the star of the show, with his sparkley wings, surrounded by just as sparkly hearts and clouds.

All the cards this month were soooo very swanky. Are you playing in this month’s challenges? I hope you are. You could win our next release, just like Linsey. All you have to do is play.

Brenda Nakandakari — February Swanky Stamper

2 / 2 / 15

We had so many GREAT entries last month for our TCP Tuesday Challenges. But, I could only pick just one.

It’s February, and the month for LOVE! What better card to choose than one that celebrates the month. And, in so grand a fashion. This card by Brenda Nakandakari is bling at its finest. She glittered up the wings of the bunny and dotted sequins here and there for a bit of shine. Then, layered up the Heart Trio and tucked it behind the Cupid Bunny for even more sparkle. Bling on Valentine’s Day or any day? Yes, please!

Here are some other cards that deserve attention. And, a lot of it, too.

DSCN1489

Sharon Poleski wowed me with this wonderfully whimsical card. Beautifully colored, this card using Take Off just makes me smile.

monkeycard7

And my smile just got bigger and bigger with this sweet card from Linsey Rickett. Love the paper pieced sock monkey and the additional color that she added to the sentiment.

TCP_Challenge_Jan_2015_edited-1_by_summerthyme64Vicki Garrett deserves a BIG shout out for her Snow Days card. She put the Snowflake Lace Paper die behind and used several of the snowflakes for embellies. Her coloring is Awesome!

tcpt281

The last card is by Joyce Casaldi! The set she used is Besties and the her card just screams SPRING! What a beautiful way to welcome it.

Are you ready for a NEW TCP Tuesday Challenge and a way to win gift vouchers and/or be crowned the NEXT Swanky Stamper and WIN a selection of our next release? Check back tomorrow!

Yvonne B – December Swanky Stamper

12 / 3 / 1412 / 3 / 14

I finally got the last order out in the mail from the sale and I realized that I hadn’t announced the Swanky Stamper for December. I apologize for that, but the winner is worth waiting for.

If there is one thing I love, it’s fun and clever card. Like this beauty by Yvonne B. The TCP Tuesday Challenge was to use Kraft, Black and Red in your card. She uses one of our older sets, Candyland Christmas for this card. And, the sledding penguins certainly fit the Challenge. Yvonne added a bit of mirror paper for the glitz and added splashes of white for the glam.  The Holiday Topper  add texture. Just lovely.

3papers

We had so many beautiful cards, I thought that I’d share some with you. This is a simple card from Brenda Nakandakari. Simply wonderful. Stitched paper panels help frame a pretty tag that she stamped using Big, Fat Holiday Greetings.

TCPTUES278_Sparkly_penguin_by_jennik

This sparkly card by Jennik is just wonderful with it’s layers of shining snowflakes and a Penguin that flies in to say “Hello”

TCPTUES280-3_by_andreasscrapsAndrea C. was certainly busy stamping up these sweet cards. Anyone would love to get any one of these, methinks. The Slime/Icicle CutUps adds some sparkly goodness!

December marks a break from the TCP Tuesday Challenges. We know that December is a time for family and creating. And, our stamps and dies and Cutables are Puuurfect for creating. So, add your TCP creation to the Winter Blog Hop Inlinkz button on right. On December 26, we’ll randomly choose a winner of a $50 Gift Certificate.

Sneaky Peek #3– All Is Bright

11 / 20 / 1411 / 19 / 14

It’s Day #3 of Sneaky Peek Week and we are already almost halfway through Sneaky Peek week. And, what is a Cat’s Pajamas Release without the Long-Eared Bunny? He’s been getting into a lot of mischief, so we thought we’d give him his own set. This set is called “All is Bright” and it and all the CutUps and Cutables featured this week will be available for purchase on November 25.

Let’s see what trouble he’s been causing The Cat Pack.

-2Wendy McGaffey creates a wonderful, sparkly shaker card. The Bunny is almost like the town Christmas tree in front of the houses from “Home For All Seasons”. The Celebration Topper gives another pop of color.

Nancy Thomas All is Bright Step 2Love this card from Nancy Thomas. She used the NEW Triple Side Step Cutable to make this card really special. The Triple Side Step Cutable makes creating usually time consuming cards easy. Just use your cutting machine to cut the card base AND the mats. Or use the .pdf  if you don’t have a cutting machine. Then have fun decorating.

naughtylistThis prettily colored Bunny brightens up an already bright card. He is such a fun image, you can go traditional, or nontraditional like this card from Jessica Rone.

TCP-Light-Up-CO-1114The best thing about this Bunny is that you can color him as much as you like or as little. Christine Okken colors him so beautifully. I covet his round belly. (Is that weird?)

Want to see more of the “All is Bright” Stamp Set and our NEW Cutables and CutUps? Then, check out Kelli Hull,  Lisa Henke, Lori Tecler, Lyn Wallan- Smith and Joyce Casaldi for their take on this set.

Then, head on over to our In It To Win It Thread at SplitcoastStampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win this stamp set. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week.
