Sneaky Peek #3 — Boo Y’all!

9 / 25 / 149 / 25 / 14

It’s Day #3 of Sneaky Peek Week and the set we are Sneaky Peeking today is called “Boo Y’all” and features what some of my customers affectionately call “The Long-Eared Bunny of Doom”. He may be the Reaper, but in this set, he is anything but Grim.

This set, and all the stamp sets, CutUps Dies and Cutables will be available on September 30.

 -29

When I first saw this card by Wendy McGaffey, I must admit to some jaw dropping. Her coloring is superb and I love how she used our NEW Slime/Icicles CutUps to create the interior of what must be… a very hot place.

Nancy Thomas TCP Boo Y'all

Nancy Thomas insists that I created this sentiment for her. After all, she is Southern. If she keeps making cards like this one, I’ll agree to anything.

TCPSept14-be afraid

Here’s another beauty by Lisa Henke using the Slime/Icicles CutUps along with the tags from the Fancy Flip and Fancy Flip Frame CutUps for some very clever tombstones.

Boo-Y'all-small

I just flipped when I saw this card by Julie Masse. She uses our NEW Fancy Flip CutUps and gives you a little peek at another of our NEW CutUps. I call them “The Birds” after my favorite Hitchcock movie.

Sneaky Peek Day #2 — Eat Drink and Be Scary

9 / 24 / 149 / 23 / 14

It’s Day #2 of Sneaky Peek Week and I hope you are ready for another Sneaky Peek. The set we are Sneaky Peeking today is called “Eat Drink and Be Scary” and features one happy partygoer. He has delicious munchies and a cocktail.  His cocktail, of choice? Is it a Bloody Mary? Or a Graveyard Smog? Maybe a Transylvania Ice Tea? Your guess is as good as mine. This set, and all the stamp sets, CutUps Dies and Cutables will be available on September 30. Frank2

You can tell that Brenda Nakandakari liked this set. Her paper choices are so fun and full of life. Frankie is so much fun to color AND to paper piece. I just love how Brenda added a little sparkle to this card using our brand NEW Slime/Icicles CutUps.

tcpSept14-eatdrinkscary

Lisa Henke uses the same set and Slime/Icicles CutUps and adds the scalloped square from the Fancy Flip CutUps, for a completely different look.

Nancy Thomas TCP Twisted Easel 2

Check out this card by Nancy Thomas. She uses the Eat Drink and Be Scary set with the NEW Twisted Easel Cutable for this standup card. The Twisted Easel Cutable is great, because you get all the mats to complete your card in your downloadable file.

candypopup

This set is one of my favorites in this release and I had to stamp it up. So, I made this super cute Treat Holder. And, what is great about this treat holder is that when you open it, the treat pops up. Of course, you have to do a little testing to see what candy pops out the best, but what’s a little sugar in the name of art?

Candyinside

I was so excited about this Pop Up Treat Holder, that I decided to make it a Cutable, too. It’s so easy to make if you have a cutting machine. But, even if you don’t, I’ve provided the measurements for the holder so that you don’t miss out. And, it’s simple. Here’s a video on how I made this project.

Sneaky Peek Day #1—Survivor

9 / 22 / 149 / 23 / 14

It’s Day #1 of Sneaky Peek Week and I’m so excited about this release.

And, it’s TCP Tuesday! The Challenge is “Anything Goes” and it’s a perfect challenge for this very first day of Sneaky Peek Week.

Not too long ago, I received a wonderful message from Joyce Casaldi suggesting a set with our characters with coordinating ribbons for awareness that could be colored in different colors. I thought, what a wonderful idea. The ribbon, has come to mean so much. And, its various colors are a perfect way to bring awareness to illnesses and the prevention. So, of course, a set had to be made. And, not just with any character. But, one that is so special to my heart. The long-eared bunny.

TCP-not an option ribbon

Lisa Henke stamps up this set and paper pieces the ribbon for Breast Cancer Awareness. She uses embossing paste and a stencil cut using our Dots CutUps and Stencil Sheets.

TCP-Suvivor-CO-0914

Christine Okken, brings this set to life by coloring her ribbon in Orange for Leukemia Awareness. She stamps up the background using the ribbon included in the set.

P1220431-imp

Noelle McAdams creates this wonderful flip card for Sarcomas Awareness using our NEW Fancy Flip CutUps. The wonderful bunny adorns the front of the card.

P1220433-imp

And, one of the sentiments, the interior. The Fancy Flip CutUps comes with two different CutUps to adorn the the card. There is also a separate CutUps for smaller versions of the nesting dies.

Survivor

Swanky Stamper, Brenda Nakandari, stamps up this pretty card using one of the sentiments to create this stunning background.

ADTwisted

Even I had to get my stamp set inky. I used the set and the two new dies with one of our NEW Cutables, the Twisted Easel. I just love how a simple card can be made special with this easy Cutable. So, simple, I made a quick video to show you.

Sneaky Peek #7— Life is like Ice Cream

6 / 16 / 146 / 16 / 14

It’s Day #7 of Sneaky Peek Week! And the very last day of our Sneaky Peeks. That means that tomorrow will be the first day that you can officially get all 8 stamp sets, 3 CutUps Dies and 2 Cutables that we Sneaky Peeked in this week past.

The set that we are Sneaky Peeking today is called “Life is like Ice Cream”. (My mother, would probably change that sentence to read “Life IS Ice Cream”, she loves the sweet treat so much. “Life is like Ice Cream” features our favorite long-eared bunny. He just can’t seem to get enough!
TCP-Ice-Cream-CO-0614

Christine Okken serves it up fresh and hot. This card dazzles us with pattern and texture, and some pretty awesome coloring.

tcp-ice cream therapyLisa Henke luscious card features one of the three sentiments in this set, bent to fit around the circular panel. That’s only one of the wonderful things that you can do with ease with clear stamps.

F185105057

Nancy Thomas’ yummy card is so pretty with her color palette and the embossed “Dots” CutUps is a perfect match.

SprinklesI just loved this image so much that I had to stamp this little guy up. I thought it called for a shaker card for the “Sprinkles” on top. It was easy peasy to whip the shaker part up with the Framed Up 2 CutUps.

Want to see more of “Life is like Ice Cream” and get more peeks of the New CutUps and Cutables? Check out Kelli Hull,  Wendy McGaffey  and Swanky Stamper, Brenda Nakandari.

Then, head on over to our In It To Win It Thread at SplitcoastStampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win this stamp set. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week. That’s it for Sneaky Peek Week. A special thanks to Swanky Stampers Christine Okken, Brenda Nakandari, Christine Veneruso, Linsey Rickett and Kyra Sanders for joining us and sharing your creative goodness!

Sneaky Peek #6 — Aye, Eye, I

6 / 15 / 146 / 15 / 14

It’s Day #6 of Sneaky Peek Week! I can’t believe how fast the week has flown by!

Today is Father’s Day, so with that in mind, this Sneaky Peek features a set called “Aye, Eye, I.” We had so much fun with the “Mustache Set“, that we decided to expand on it. Of course we had to have more mustaches but this time we added eyes and a monocle and even an eye patch. So. Much. Fun.

Kelli

AND, if that weren’t enough, we created “Under My Hat”. A die set, that can work with the stamp set, or by itself. Kelli Hull uses both in her card. The “Under My Hat” CutUps for the front.

KelliInside

And, the “Aye, Eye, I” stamp set on the inside.

P6142944

This elegant card by Brenda Nakandari is so simple, but so stunning. She uses patterned paper that looks like fabric and a fuzzy piece of real fabric for the hat. Just a bit a sparkle from the buttons and the monocle pulls it all together.

Nancy Thomas Aye Eye I

Nancy Thomas uses both the set together, along with the notebook topper from our “Toppers” CutUp. We know that sometimes it can be hard to create masculine cards, but with this set and die? No problem.

TCP-Aye-Aye-CO0614This set is chock full of sayings that you can mix and match. Or you can put them all together for a great “Subway Art” look like Christine Okken does on this great card.

DSC02860

You can get so many looks from the “Aye, Eye, I” stamp set and the “Under My Hat” CutUps. Susan Liles mixes them with the “Dots” CutUps for the background and lots of patterned paper for a distinctive look. I also liked how Susan added a different color band for the hat. It’s easy with the “Under My Hat” CutUps. The band cuts right out. You can keep it solid or add a pattern.

Want to see more of “Under My Hat” and get more peeks of the New CutUps and Cutables? Check out Lisa Henke, Noelle McAdams, Wendy McGaffey and Jessie Rone, and Swanky Stampers, Kyra Sanders, Linsey Rickett.

Then, head on over to our In It To Win It Thread at SplitcoastStampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win this stamp set. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week.

Sneaky Peek #5—Bubbles Happen

6 / 13 / 146 / 13 / 14

It’s Day #5 of Sneaky Peek Week, and today’s Peek features Mr. Penguin again. I’m not sure what to call him, but there is a discussion over at SplitcoastStampers in our forum. Right now, the popular vote is for “Bob”. tcp-something goofyI remember blowing bubbles as a child and it was one of my very favorite pastimes. I would try and make the biggest bubble. Or see if I could make a never ending stream of bubbles, Like in this card by Lisa Henke. But, I always wondered where the bubbles would end up. Who would see these bubbles I made, just floating by. “Bubbles Happen” just harkens back to those days and is a reminder that we should never forget to play.

F185105055

This vintage looking card by Nancy Thomas has Mr. Penguin tucked into the open circle from the Framed Up 2 CutUps set. It’s a great way to highlight this sweet little guy.

LTBubblesHappen

Here, Lori Tecler uses the New Cutables to create a scene on her card. She adds some sparkley sequins and the Grass CutUps to pull it all together.

DSC02857

I love the bright paper and colors in Susan Liles‘ card. The size of the Penguin can stand up to the boldest of colors. And she accents it with the wonderful new “Butterflies” CutUps.

Want to see more of “Bubbles Happen” and get more peeks of the New CutUps and Cutables? Sneaky Peek #4—Vintage Summer

6 / 12 / 146 / 12 / 14

It’s Day #4 of Sneaky Peek Week, and today we are actually Sneaky Peeking one of my very favorite sets. This set is called “Vintage Summer” and it was the inspiration of this whole collection. This stamp set makes me think of lazy summer days past.

Remember, blowing bubbles as a kid? Or lying in a field of daisies. Glasses of cool lemonade, melting ice cream, parades and fireworks. Days of playing dress up, and riding bikes and watching baseball with Dad? This set and all the sets and CutUps and Cutables will be available for purchase on June 17.
DSC02862Susan Liles‘ card certainly has that vintage feel. She adds in the “Petal Posies” and “Heart Swirl” CutUps. This set pairs perfectly with another CutUps, “Framed Up.”

tcp-redwhiteblue celebrate

It’s time to celebrate with Lisa Henke‘s card. Simply stamped in one color, it’s easy to pull together a card that will have you stepping lively.

Kelli

Kelli Hull’s card is a study in Americana. Red, White and Blue are a terrific backdrop for this stamp. Simple, yet classic

DSC_0070_2

Brenda Nakandari‘s card has me marching to a different drummer. She uses a bit of mixed media to create this stunning card

TCP Summer Memories CO 0614

Silhouette stamps don’t have to be in just one color. Christine Okken adds color to this stamp and it gives it a wonderful hand-tinted look.

Sneaky Peek #3 — Simple Blooms/ Nature’s Hello

6 / 12 / 146 / 12 / 14

It’s Day #3 of Sneaky Peek Week, and today we are actually Sneaky Peeking TWO of the New sets that will be available for purchase on June 17.

The two sets, “Simple Blooms” and “Nature’s Hello” are two completely different sets, but they work beautifully together. “Simple Blooms” is a big stamp set that features silhouette type flowers that can be stamped in one color or many. It’s a really versatile set that can be used for many different occasions.

The second set, “Nature’s Hello” features PJ the Bear fully enjoying the weather. PJ is super fun to color or paper piece. But, enough of my blather. On to the cards.

COCard

This Card in the Box was created by Christine Okken using our New “Card in a Box” Cutables. She used the cutting file to cut the flowers and sentiment scroll. Then added the Butterflies to embellish. Just lovely. The cutting files for the flowers are a FREE download and the proceeds for the next two months for our Cutables with directly go to the Masse China Adoption Fund.

KelliKelli Hull always creates such classic designs. And, this one layer card is no different. She creates the “mat” from beautiful color and stamps the flowers and sentiments in black. Then, she adds the bitty butterflies from the NEW Butterflies dies as an embellishment. What a beautiful all occasion card.

Kyra Sanders uses the second stamp set we are Sneaky Peeking today, Nature’s Hello. PJ trips the light fantastic with a fun flower in tow.

junepeek3Here is Jessica Rone‘s beauty of a card. She uses the “Step Out Card” Cutables, but the star is PJ the bear and his big ole flower umbrella.

tcp-pj flowerLisa Henke‘s fresh colors and use of the circle frame in the Framed Up 2 CutUps shows off this stamp set to perfection. She colors PJ and paper pieces the flower and petals. Just delightful.

Sneaky Peek #2—Play Ball

6 / 10 / 146 / 11 / 14

It’s Day #2 of Sneaky Peek Week, but for some reason it feels like the end of the week. Time to sit outside and watch a ball game or better yet, eat hot dogs.

Could it be because of this next set we are Sneaky Peeking? The Long-Eared Bunny makes another appearance as a bunny of Summer in “Play Ball.” This set and all the stamp sets, CutUps Dies and Cutables we are Sneaky Peeking this week will be available on June 17.

Nancy Thomas Play BallCheck out Nancy Thomas’  super cute card. Not only does she use the “Play Ball” set, with the 3 x3 stars, but she uses it on the “Step Out” Cutables.

Nancy Thomas Play Ball SideAnd, Nancy even decorated the steps of the “Step Out” card. The best part about the card?

Nancy Thomas Play Ball EnvieIt’s designed to fit in a regular envie.

1-DSCF2483I am just in love with the sweet bunny with his paper pieced hat in this card by Kyra Sanders. Her card is a perfect masculine card for men of any age.

LTPlayBallWhat happens when you mix up a bunny and a bat? Well you see stars. Lori Tecler used the “Play Ball” stamp set and the 3 x3 stars for her fun card. This card is the second Cutable we’ll be releasing. “Card in a Box”.LTPlayBall2It folds flat to fit in an envelope, but easily folds out into a fun and playful box. You can dress this card up or down, but it is always a stand out.

COPlaySwanky Stamper, Christine Okken’s card is a home run. Love the bright colors and her coloring. She brings this stamp set to life. And, you notice that perfect fussy cut around the bunny and sentiment? That is a FREE cutting file that you will be able to download so that you can concentrate on creating, rather than cutting.

junepeek2Last but not least, Jessica Rone pulls out all the stops with this bright and happy card. And, who says a bunny’s nose should be pink? I think that Jessica’s bunny nose is just adorable.

Sneaky Peek #1 — Strange and Wonderful

6 / 10 / 146 / 10 / 14

It’s Day #1 of Sneaky Peek Week, and I’m so excited.

Not only is our fantastic Design Team stamping up some super cute cards for this upcoming release, but we have a line up of wonderful Swanky Stampers coming out to strut their stuff. AND, it’s TCP Tuesday! WooT WOOT!

TCPTUES268_Color_Challenge

This week, we’ll be highlighting the EIGHT stamp sets that make up our Summer Release, but also 3 NEW CutUps and 2 brand new Cutables. They will all be available on June 16.

So, let’s get started. Today’s peek is called “Strange and Wonderful” and it features one of my very favorite characters, the Penguin. Many of you know that we often picture the penguins as a trio that we fondly call “Larry, Daryl and Darrell.” But, did you know that this little guy is NOT one of the three? I don’t think we have a name for this little guy, but he sure is friendly.

Kelli

Kelli Hull is our Hostess with the Mostess and she has chosen the Color Challenge for challenge. She is challenging you to use Kraft, Rose and Vanilla. Truly a yummy combination. Just check out her card.

Lisa

Here is Lisa Henke take on the challenge. She mixes the new set with our New Butterflies CutUps. It’s really two dies that cut 4 butterflies. If you look closely you see that the larger butterfly have a cutout that are two smaller butterflies. They are wonderfully different in shape and super sweet.

Nancy Thomas

Here is Nancy Thomas‘ take on these delicious colors. She uses the Strange and Wonderful stamp set, but stamps the penguin on a tag. I just love this fresh idea.

Step-card--small

Julie Masse stamps up her pretty card. And, her design just POPS. And, it should, she creates her card using one of our NEW Cutables. This one is called the Step Out Card. We give you the pattern for the card and mats in .svg, .studio and .pdf file for those of you who don’t have a cutting machine.

For those of you who don’t know, Julie and her family will be adopting a very special little girl from China. The thought that Julie’s family will opening their home to a child in need makes me a little verklempt. Adoption is expensive. And, every bit counts . So, for the next two months, The Cat’s Pajamas will be donating the proceeds from our Cutables to the Masse’s China Adoption.

Susan

Susan Liles didn’t make her card using the TCP Tuesday Challenge colors, but boy is her card a cutie! She showcase the “Strange and Wonderful” set and also the NEW “Petal Posies” CutUps. This CutUps is 3 different flower dies that snap apart so that you can use both the flower that is cut and the paper it has been cut out of. Super Cute!

Want to see more of “Strange and Wonderful” and get more peeks of the New CutUps and Cutables?

Then check out Jessica Rone, Noelle McAdams, Wendy McGaffey, Lori Tecler and Swanky Stampers, Brenda Nakandari,   Kyra Sanders and Linsey Rickett

Then, head on over to our In It To Win It Thread at SplitcoastStampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win this stamp set. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week.
