Noelle McAdams is our Hostess with the Mostess and her challenge: Make a card that has clouds in it.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI love this challenge so I decided to pull out the Hang In There, Baby set and the Slider CutUps and make a slider card.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAHere is the card completely open. It was so easy to make and such a fun card to make that I just had to share how I did it. Check out my video.

I want to thank our Swanky Stampers, Tricia Traxler and Christine Okken. They had some simply AMAZING cards, as did The Cat Pack.

Sneaky Peek #7

3 / 24 / 143 / 23 / 14

It’s Day #7 of Sneaky Peek Week, and it’s the VERY LAST PEEK before the stamps and dies you have seen this week go up for sale on our website.  But, before I go into the peek, I want to extend an invitation to you to come to our Pajamas Party today.

March2014InviteIt’s a chance for you to see some more peeks. Meet up with the AMAZING Ladies that make up The Cat Pack, and possibly win a gift voucher or two. Just click on the invitation above, and it will take you directly to the party.

Now, onto the peek. Today’s peek is called “Flying By” and it features our mascot, Sprinkle! (That is Sprinkle, singular, because there is only one of her fabulous feliness.)

I have always loved Sprinkle and feel like she is a go-getter, she sees, and she gets. She flys in the face of adversity and soars above the rest. She is no scaredy cat. So, what better place to have her, but flying in on a plane. This set is made up of 3 sentiment stamps and 4 image stamps. The cloud stamps are really whimsical and stamp wonderfully in two of the clouds in the Cloud Border CutUps.

“Flying By” will be available for purchase on Tuesday, March 25 along with the rest of the Stamps and CutUps Dies we are Sneaky Peeking this week.

Flying ByLet’s start off with Nancy Thomas, her wonderfully colored Sprinkle is just perfect with all the different papers that Nancy chose. She uses our NEW Framed Up 2 CutUps and mixes in the Big Scallop Border, the Dots plate that she embossed and the Cloud Border stamped up with one of the clouds. Just FAB!

Flying ByLisa Henke flys in with the awesome card. Her coloring is wonderful and the highlights she puts on the goggles just crack me up. Most of all, the open circle from the Framed Up 2 CutUps puts the focus on that crazy cat.

Flying ByWendy McGaffey‘s card is just too cute. Her choice of paper and Sprinkle and the saying in the clouds are so thoughtful.

TTTCPFlyingByTricia Traxler’s card feels almost vintagey, with her soft color palette. It almost has an Instagram quality that is just so appealing.

Flying ByThis card by Christine Okken has a lot of “WOW” factor. I know this because that is what my mouth kept saying over and over. And, over.

Flying By I just love her interpretation of the slider and the saying on the front and inside. Did I mention, that the “Some Kind of Wonderful” saying is one that Jessica Rone posted on her Facebook page? She is some kind of inspiring.

Flying ByKelli Hull card makes my heart soar. She mixes paper piecing and coloring and for an added twist, uses a bit of Airmail Divine Twine. Brilliant.

flying-by-Julie Masse‘s happy card uses bright fun colors. She uses the open circle from the NEW Framed Up 2 CutUps and layers it over the Heart Rosette for a fresh new look.

Thank you for joining us during Sneaky Peek Week and a BIG THANK YOU to Tricia Traxler and Christine Okken for joining us and creating such wonderful cards for our peaks.

Don’t forget to stop in for our Pajama Party and Tomorrow’s Blog Hop!

And don’t forget to play along in our In It To Win It Contest on Splitcoaststampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week.

Sneaky Peek #6

3 / 23 / 143 / 23 / 14

It’s Day #6 of Sneaky Peek Week, and we are almost to the end of our peeks. Just one more day of peeks. EEK! I say we do it all over again, okay? No? Well, it’s a good thing that you said no, because there is a cheeky little monkey that has been hanging around all week to say “Hi”. That’s right, the Sock Monkey is back and all I want to say is “Hang In There, Baby!” I’m not being mean. That’s actually the name of his set.

“Hang In There, Baby!” will be available for purchase on Tuesday, March 25 along with the rest of the Stamps and CutUps Dies we are Sneaky Peeking this week.

Hang in there BabySusan Liles has this silly little monkey sailing away in the clouds. The accompanying sentiment is perfect to let someone know that you are thinking of them. It’s so cute that she tucked away the scalloped square from the Framed Up 2 CutUps behind the clouds for that extra pop of color.

Hang in there Baby

Nancy Thomas uses the Cloud Border to make that sweet cloud. She tucks the Luggage tag CutUps in and ties a plaid ribbon to it.  But, the stand out is that funny monkey. This card would be a perfect baby shower card.

Hang in there BabyTricia Traxler‘s oh-so-pretty card is just stunning. She uses just the saying for this beauty. Her color palette is so soft and she adds the open circle from the Framed Up 2 CutUps for even more interest.

Hang in there BabyLisa Henke‘s card is as sweet as can be. Her colors are good enough to eat. She colors up the monkey and paper pieces the balloon. This card is so simple. Simply stunning.

Hang in there BabyThis sweet card by Kelli Hull really takes my breath away. Pretty tone on tone except for the silly monkey who seems to have gotten a little carried away by his balloons, and the wonderful saying.

Hang in there BabyChristine Okken‘s card is a study in blue. The monkey is perfect to color, traditionally or how ever you wish.

Want to see more terrific cards and projects? You are invited to our Pajamas Release Party. We’ll have games, giveaways and chatter. Good times.
And don’t forget to play along in our In It To Win It Contest on Splitcoaststampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week.

Sneaky Peek #5

3 / 22 / 143 / 22 / 14

It’s Day #5 of Sneaky Peek Week, and Sneaky Peek Week is almost at an end. Just 2 more peeks and then the release. “Rise and Shine” features the Long-Eared Bunny and he is staying warm and dry under his umbrella. And, if the puddles get too deep, his big old boots will keep his little paws toasty.

“Rise and Shine” will be available for purchase on Tuesday, March 25 along with the rest of the Stamps and CutUps Dies we are Sneaky Peeking this week.

Rise and Shine“Rise and Shine” not only stars our favorite bunny, but he comes with a supporting cast of 3 sentiments and five different graphics. You’ll have fun creating a scene with your little bunny. I think Kelli Hull did with her beautifully colored card.

Rise and ShineNoelle McAdams‘ a slider card with the New Slider CutUps Die. She stamped the raindrops on the patterned paper to create even more interest.

Rise and ShineWendy McGaffey‘s simple card is so sophisticated, and stunning. Just cleverly placed color makes her bunny stand out.

Rise and Shine

“Rise and Shine” can be dressed up or down. Christine Okken does some wonderful paper piecing and lovely coloring. She creates her own patterned paper with the included raindrops stamp.

Rise and Shine

Jessica Rone, works her happy magic on this card. I don’t know anyone that wouldn’t love to receive this beauty of a card.

Sneaky Peek Day #4

3 / 21 / 143 / 20 / 14

It’s Day #4 of Sneaky Peek Week, and we are in the middle of our peeks. Have you seen anything you like, yet? Well, what would one of our releases be without a visit from the Penguins? This set is called “Besties” and I created this set with two of my favorite besties in mind. Susan Liles and Jen del Muro. I love these gals and love the affection the have for each other.

“Besties”  will be available for purchase on Tuesday, March 25 along with the rest of the Stamps and CutUps Dies we are Sneaky Peeking this week.

BestiesSo, I am kicking off the cards with this awesome one by Susan Liles, herself. She bent one of the sayings in this set so it would fit nicely in the open circle from the Framed Up 2 set. She added the Cloud border die. Isn’t it great that it looks like a rainbow? So cute.

Besties

Who wouldn’t want to be Kelli Hull‘s Bestie if she gives them cards that look like this. She used the Lock and Heart Background, and sparkley paper for the Heart Swirl. And the heart border in black. There are a lot of hearts in this card, but her use of the black makes it so classic it could be given to a man.

bestiesJessica Rone stamps up a bright and happy card. On this card she uses the circles from the Framed Up 2 CutUps for a decidedly whimsical look.

BestiesAnd, this stamp set goes wonderfully with our NEW Slider CutUps Die. Check out Swanky Stamper Tricia Traxler‘s card. I think that that orange ribbon tied on the bike is just precious.

BestiesSwanky Stamper, Christine Okken tilts the scalloped square from the New Framed Up 2 CutUp for her card. What an original idea! This card is full of ideas I will have to case. Did I just say that. YES I did!

Besties

Want to see more of “Besties”? Check out  Wendy McGaffey, Noelle McAdams, Lisa Henke, and Lori Tecler. Their cards are totally caseable, too!

And don’t forget to play along in our In It To Win It Contest on Splitcoaststampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week.

Sneaky Peek Day #3

3 / 20 / 143 / 19 / 14

It’s Day #3 of Sneaky Peek Week, and the week is just flying by. Today, we are sneaking one of my very favorite sets. It’s called “Your Number Is Up”. It will be available for purchase on Tuesday, March 25 along with the rest of the Stamps and CutUps Dies we are Sneaky Peeking this week.

Susan Liles came up with the idea of a Numbers CutUps Die and a stamp set to go with. We like to design our CutUps and Stamps as standalones. That is, that each product, while complementing the other, doesn’t need the purchase of the other. So, we thought of making the stamp set a celebration set. The Numbers from the Numbers CutUps fit nicely over the stamps from the stamp set and the banners can be used on the banner from the Easy Rosette CutUps.

Your Number is UpHere’s  Susan Liles’ sweet treat box. She used the open circle from the New Framed Up 2 CutUps to create a shaker box and used the Numbers Plate CutUps for the “22” The die cuts these fine numbers as easy as pie. Susan stamped up the banners in the stamp set up for a colorful embellie.

YOur Number is UpHere is Wendy McGaffey‘s card. She made a shaker, but in a totally original way. She used the Numbers Plate to cut the numbers, backed it with acetate and used the stamps from the stamp set to decorate this thoroughly modern take on a classic.

Your Number is UpThe stamps in this set are big and bold and sophisticated. Lisa Henke stamped up this pretty card using the open circle from the Framed Up 2 Cutups and glitzed up the stars from the 3 x 3 Stars CutUps.

Your Number is UpSwanky Stamper, Christine Okken creates a wonderfully scrappy card that celebrates what must have been a very special year. She layers some of the numbers from the Numbers Plate over some of the stamped numbers for extra fun.

Your Number is UpWant a classic set that you can dress up or down? This set does that. Kelli Hull creates this card using the set and the Framed Up 2 CutUps. Fabulous.

Want to see more of “Your Number is up”? Check out Lori Tecler, Nancy Thomas, Noelle McAdams and Swanky Stamper Tricia Traxler. You will be totally amazed.

And don’t forget to play along in our In It To Win It Contest on Splitcoaststampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week.

SusanThis very first set is called “Lean On Me” and it was conceived by our very own Susan Liles, featuring PJ the Bear. It’s what I like to call a “stacking set”. Just take the words and stack them to form different phrases that PJ can lean on. It’s a way to get many uses from the same set. LOVE IT. When you get a chance, hop on over to her blog and take a look and her sketches. The gal is genius. Love her super bright colors! She also uses the notebook edge from the Toppers CutUps set.

TCPTuesdayBLOCKAnd not only is it the start of Sneaky Peek Week, but it’s also TCP Tuesday. Julie Masse is our Hostess with the Mostess and her challenge is a fun one: Make a card that encourages a friend.  And, when you are done with it, mail it! “Lean On Me” it the perfect set for this challenge.

LHlean on meHere’s Lisa Henke‘s take on this challenge. Love the coloring on the bear. Lisa embosses the Dots CutUps and uses Framed Up 2, our NEW CutUps for the frame, banner and circle.  Then, she adds our Flower Buttons as a finishing touch. Beautiful!

Lean on MeSwanky Stamper, Tricia Traxler shows us how easily sweet PJ can be paper pieced. This card is so Spring with its bright colors mixed with Kraft.

Nancy Thomas Lean On Me 3-18-2014Nancy Thomas paper pieced AND colored PJ, and she used the circle in the Framed Up 2 CutUps to make this card a shaker. So clever!

CONGRATS Brenda! March Swanky Stamper

3 / 4 / 14

Brenda— Swanky Stamper for March

When I first started stamping, of all the “things” that “hooked” me, embossing was it. I adored watching the dull powder change and puff under the heat of an embossing gun. I purchased every type and color under the sun, but my favorite was always the gold.

I just love Brenda’s innovative use of her gold embossing powder and paired with the kraft paper it makes as stunning, sophisticated duo. The addition of the Bitty Banners add texture and color to this card. Did I say love?

Chris2Chris Veneruso, February’s Swanky Stamper turned in this sweet card using Ewe Complete Me. I love all the different patterns and textures. AND, Chris came up with a purdy new flower using our Heart Border. This is one I will definitely case.

TCPLOVEFEST_by_T_JoyJanuary’s Swanky Stamper, Tricia Traxler created this beauty of a card for the Lovefest, using Bearing Flowers. This is one of my favorite sets and this card is so happy with the wonderful color combo. SQUEEE!

Brenda wins a future release AND gets to play along with The Cat Pack during Sneaky Peek Week. You could too! All you have to do is play along with us on TCP Tuesday. The more you play, the better your chances of winning.

Tricia Traxler — Swanky Stamper for December

12 / 2 / 13

Tricia Traxler — December Swanky Stamper

Our November TCP Tuesday Challenge was a “What’s on your desk” challenge. That is, to stamp on card and then make two more cards from what is on your desk.

mojo

When these three cards using Vintage Holiday by Tricia Traxler came across my desk I was just wowed. Her choice of papers are unexpected, yet stunning. Even though there is a vintage feel to the cards they are contemporary and beautiful.

tcp2

They feel like the season. Homey, nostalgic and hopeful. Wonderful job Tricia!

tcp1There weren’t a lot of entries for this challenge, but the ones that came in were stunning.

Indy!

Like this one from Debbie aka Indy. Her cards are rich with textures, like the burlap in the left card that using the Away We Go stamp set. And, the middle one using the Merry Everything set. The Birthday Bunny set is just a perfect choice for a tag that just peeks out of the bag.

Ashley3How about these three by Ashley Nguyen Newell ?

Ashley2

They are so simple, using the Mustaches CutUps and the Simply Said stamp set, but they are stunning in their simplicity.

Ashley1These are just a couple of the entries for last month’s challenge. Come back tomorrow for the December Challenge!
