It’s Day TWO of our May Sneaky Peek Week. We are counting down to May 28, our May Release. That’s the day that you will be able to purchase our entire release. But, if you see something you really, really like that is Sneaky Peeked, you’ll be able to purchase it the day we peek it. Today, we are Sneaky Peeking Folk Art Flowers, and matching die along with a sweet reverse die, Flutter By.
You know the old saying: “April Showers bring May Flowers”? That’s what inspired this bright and stylish set. Nancy Thomas, asked for a set of flowers that were Folk Art inspired and we came up with this versatile set. This set has a ton of flower heads and stems, along with two sentiments, birds and a watering can. I seriously don’t know how we did it, but once we got started we couldn’t stop.
Christine Okken stamps up this pretty using primary colors. You can tell how much fun she had mixing and matching. Check out her blog for a second card she stamped. Then, leave a comment for a chance to win a $10 gift voucher.
Black and yellow always seem so fresh. Melissa Chipperfield’s card is just that. She stamps this stem and flower on its matching die along with a sentiment in black and uses the NEW Flutter By Die. It’s a reverse die that you use on the base of your cards. Not only does it adds texture and cuts little holes so that and color underneath peeks through.
Speaking of fresh, this card by Brenda Nakandakari uses both the Folk Art Flowers Stamp Set AND the matching die. If you want both, get the bundle and you’ll get both for less. The sentiment is one we we’ll be peeking later on this week, Scripted Sentiments.
Okay, you know that I love black and yellow, so of course I’m going to LOVE this card by Nancy Thomas. She stamps the Folk Art Flowers on their matching dies, and tucks the Flutter By die under this cute tag. (coming soon). What is great about the Flutter By die is that it uses stitches, pierces, and embosses the “flight” of a butterfly. (Yes, you get 2 butterflies, too).
These were just a few of the lovelies that The Cat Pack have come up with. Check out the rest of the Cat Pack’s blog for more. Then, comment on each of the blogs and you could win a $10 gift voucher. We’ll pick a winner each day this week from the comments on the blogs and post the winners here and on our Facebook page.
We picked Day #1’s winning voucher from Wendy Mcgaffey’s Blog. The winner is Sue D!
