Happy May! Today is the very first day of our May Sneaky Peek Week. We are counting down to May 28, our May Release. That’s the day that you will be able to purchase our entire release. But, if you see something you really, really like that is Sneaky Peeked, you’ll be able to purchase it the day we peek it.
Mama Earth doesn’t know that May means SUNSHINE and swimming and all things outdoors. I know I am ready for Summer to get here — and fast. So, in honor of Summer, we are peeking our brand spanking NEW stamp set, Hey Girlfriend, and our NEW Porthole Duo.
Rebekah Weckerly creates a wonderful underwater world in this beauty of a card just by layering color and stamping some of the plant life from the stamp set. For a bit of shine, she adds our NEW Blue Moon Holeless Sequins.
I love this simple card by Melissa Chipperfield. She creates a slider card and stamps a sentiment in the sky. Our NEW Blue Moon Holeless Sequins finishes the card off beautifully. The Hey Girlfriend Stamp Se is chockfull of stamps so you can go simple and stylish to rich and full of life.
Christine Okken always creates richly colored cards and this card is no different. On the front, she uses one of the darling mermaids from the Hey Girlfriend Stamp Set floating in front of the Porthole Duo Die. The porthole is designed so that the little “rivets” emboss themselves for more texture.
On the inside Christine creates a terrific underwater scene and uses two of the NEW Spiral Popups to simulate kelp and seaweed. Brilliant, really.
I hope you liked these beauties, if you did, comment on each of the following blogs and you could win a $10 gift voucher. We’ll pick a winner each day this week from the comments on the blogs and post the winners here and on our Facebook page.
I hope that you’ve gotten your fingers inky for our TCP Tuesday Move It May Challenge. The Challenge this month is all about the shake, rattle, and roll. You’ve seen a couple of pretties in our Sneaky Peek that fit the bill.
But, here are a couple more to get your creative juices going.
Cristena Bagne creates this shower gel card to look like it’s under water. Check out her blog to see how she did it.
Rebekah Weckerly has me flying high with this popup card.
