March Blog Hop

March Blog Hop
Happy Release Day BLOG HOP! I don’t know about you, but I am so excited that’s it’s Release Day. I’ve been watching The Cat’s Packs cards float into my email and they are Ah-Mazing.

If you came from Deborah Anton’s blog, you are at the end of the hop. If you didn’t. Then, head on over to the start of the Hop, Julee Tilman’s blog.

Mailbox Card

For my card, I pulled out this cute NEW Mailbox CutUps,  For Fox Sake Stamp Set and Travel Stickers Stamp Set.

To “jazz” up the map paper I used as a base to the card I used the Travel Stickers Stamp Set with two different color inks.

The NEW Mailbox CutUps is 4 dies, including this diagonal striped frame. The actual Mailbox is easy to paper piece and it was the perfect place to add more patterns.

I stamped the Fox and Mouse on the FREE Cutable for that set and colored with copics. I cut off the little bird with the fox and put him on the top of the mailbox. So Sassy!

On the inside is a little surprise. I created  a popup with the mailbox, and filled the mailbox with letters and hearts. I got the idea from Lynn Collins who created that DARLING Treat Box. It’s simply a Box Card made with the mailbox die.

inside mailbox

Here’s a peek at the card on the inside. I stamped up the Travel Stickers Stamp Set here, too. I love that the colors really pull everything together.

The sentiment is from the For Fox Sake Stamp Set, stamped on the die cuts created from the Ribbon Banners CutUps. I used the Distress Oxide Pumice Stone to stamp on the ribbon.

This card was amazingly fun to make. Here is a quick video showing how I made it.

In the meantime, you may want to take a second look at The Cat Pack’s cards. They are amazing.
