Sixteen years ago (wow, that’s bananas) I started The Cat’s Pajamas.
I really didn’t know what I was doing, but after going online I got an email from Julee Tilman asking if I would consider her for our Design Team.
I think I jumped up and down, and did a little dance. I may also have whooped a couple of times before I said “Heck Yeah!” Julee was one of our very first Design Team Members. An original!
Julee is prolly one of the most talented people I know. (In person, and virtually) Besides, being a super talented card designer, she is a muse and inspiration to so very many—including myself.
While running her own successful company, and raising her twins she still hosted a successful challenge blog, showcasing her beautifully colored cards. She’s been a special guest designer for us in a couple of our last releases. So, when she applied for The Cat Pack , I jumped up and down, and did a little dance. I may also have whooped a couple of times before I said “Heck Yeah!” Nope, I’m pretty sure I did that.
And, here’s why. Take a look at this beauty using our stamps from the Bunnies in Flight stamp set and Portrait of Mew CutUps Die. Julee loves color. And you can see it in this card. Julee’s impeccable coloring is evident in the bunny, AND in the background that she created with a stencil and oxide inks. Julee also did a VIDEO to show you how she created this beauty. Check it out here.
I’m so glad Julee is back with us. Let the adventure begin! Again!
