All The Mews That’s Fit To Print

December 2014

I finally got the last order out in the mail from the sale and I realized that I hadn’t announced the Swanky Stamper for December. I apologize for that, but the winner is worth waiting for.

If there is one thing I love, it’s fun and clever card. Like this beauty by Yvonne B. The TCP Tuesday Challenge was to use Kraft, Black and Red in your card. She uses one of our older sets, Candyland Christmas for this card. And, the sledding penguins certainly fit the Challenge. Yvonne added a bit of mirror paper for the glitz and added splashes of white for the glam.  The Holiday Topper  add texture. Just lovely.

We had so many beautiful cards, I thought that I’d share some with you. This is a simple card from Brenda Nakandakari. Simply wonderful. Stitched paper panels help frame a pretty tag that she stamped using Big, Fat Holiday Greetings.

TCPTUES278_Sparkly_penguin_by_jennik

This sparkly card by Jennik is just wonderful with it’s layers of shining snowflakes and a Penguin that flies in to say “Hello”

TCPTUES280-3_by_andreasscrapsAndrea C. was certainly busy stamping up these sweet cards. Anyone would love to get any one of these, methinks. The Slime/Icicle CutUps adds some sparkly goodness!

TCPTUES280_Color Challenge Graphic-1Today’s challenge is a Color Challenge. If you haven’t, click on over to Nancy‘s for the start of the Hop.

ADTStepHere is my card. I used the NEW Triple Side Step Cutable for this card and added the houses from the Home For All Seasons stamp set and the Village CutUps. I wanted the house to look like gingerbread, so I stamped in white pigment ink and used white embossing powder. Then I added some White Enamel Accents to the roof line and anywhere I thought snow would be. For the tree line, I used the Holiday Toppers CutUps.

This card came together really fast, mostly because of the Triple Side Step Cutable. You can see what I mean in this video. Once the main pieces where cut, I just had fun decorating.

So, now I have some good news and some more good news.

First, the good news.

Starting today we will be having a month long Blog Hop. And, you can play along. Just use anything TCP and you’re golden. It’s THE very last day of Sneaky Peek Week and I’m kind of sad to see it come to an end. I’ve loved showing you all our NEW stamps and dies and Cutables. And, I’ve loved seeing all the great cards and projects from The Cat Pack. And, I have been so blessed to have Swanky Stampers Lyn Wallen-Smith and Joyce Casaldi join along.

Earlier this week, you saw the Penguin brothers being a little sporty in the Pray For Snow set. Perhaps, you wondered where the other penguin could possibly be. Well, he found a little friend that he is trying to show the ropes. I call this set “Reindeer Kisses” and it and all the CutUps and Cutables featured this week will be available for purchase on November 25.

I can’t wait to show you what The Cat Pack has come up with.

Nancy Thomas TCP Reindeer Kisses

Nancy Thomas starts us off with a terrific card. She colors up the reindeer and found the perfect paper to show him off. Then, she adds one of the snowflakes from the NEW Double Snowflake CutUps as a finishing touch.

IMG_9545This bottle tag from Kelli Hull just makes me smile. It’s such an elegant and clever topper when giving your favorite “spirit”.

-14

Wendy McGaffey‘s tag decorates something to get your teeth into, instead. She uses the snowflake as a wintery background for the penguin and friend. The top of the tag is from an old favorite, and the sweet Santa mustache is a great addition.

Lori Tecler‘s card is wonderful in it’s simplicity. She also uses the Holiday Toppers to add texture to her card. But, the star is definitely the penguin and his friend. And, that elegant sentiment, of course.

F195461050Jessica Rone adds a bit of Holiday magic with the Celebration Topper and her wonderful coloring. It’s such a sweet little set and has so many great sentiments.

Want to see more of this great set? Then, click on over to Julie Masse, Lisa Henke, and Joyce Casaldi. You’ll be glad you did.

Then, head on over to our In It To Win It Thread at SplitcoastStampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win this stamp set. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week. After that, come to our Pajamas Party to celebrate our NEW Release. There will be games and giveaways and more peeks.

SneakyPeekPeeks_06

It’s Day #6 of Sneaky Peek Week and there is just one more peek left in Sneaky Peek Week after today’s. I hope that you’ve all enjoyed your peeks. I know that I am constantly amazed at the cards and projects that The Cat Pack and Swanky Stampers create for this week.

Way back when my niece and nephew were very small, I decided that all gifts for the Holidays should be handmade. I felt that this time of year should be spent creating things with love, rather than buying something that would not even last a week. So, I started baking. And, making soap. For a while it was knitting. It got to the point where I could knit a sock in a day. I still carry on this tradition today.

I want my tags and labels to be as pretty and special as the gift they are on. So, this set was born. I call this set “Handmade For You” and it and all the CutUps and Cutables featured this week will be available for purchase on November 25. The set contains lots of different labels that you can stamp on tags and gifts and cards. There is even one for the back of your cards.

Let’s see what The Cat Pack has come up with.

TCP-K-Cup-1-CO-1114

Christine Okken starts off this peek with a BANG! She uses the Handmade for You Stamp Set on our NEW K-Cup Carryall Cutable. The K-Cup Carryall is designed to hold two K-Cups, but it can be adjusted to carry just one K-Cup and goodies. This Carryall is a perfect way to give a little something to that someone special.

TCP-K-Cup-5-CO-1114Christine chose just one K-Cup and even decorated it. Then she stenciled on a pretty drawstring bag to hold even more goodies.

Nancy Thomas Handmade for You Set 2Nancy Thomas used the Chevron Cutable to make her stencil for the bag and created a bright and cheery card using the Home For All Seasons Stamp set.

tcpNov14-our house tagWho wouldn’t want to get this sweet treat from Lisa Henke. These stamps really put the finishing touch on any gift.

P1220785-imp

Noelle McAdams dresses up her K-Cup Carryall with the stamps from the set and also decorates a candy filled bag.

PB230304

I don’t know what is in this goodie bag that Lyn-Wallan Smith stamped up, I just know I want it. What a pretty package this is topped with a doily and it’s handsome tag.

Want to see more of  “Handmade For You”? Hop on over to Kelli Hull, and Jessie Rone. You won’t be sorry.

Then, head on over to our In It To Win It Thread at SplitcoastStampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win this stamp set. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week.

SneakyPeekPeeks_5

It’s Day #5 of Sneaky Peek Week and I can’t believe that the week has almost come to an end. For today’s set, I turned to the artist that brought you the Long-Eared Bunny for a set featuring my favorite sheep and she came through with flying colors. The sheep have long been a favorite of mine and I dearly love their fluffy bodies. It must be the knitter in me. This set is called “Melt My Ice” and it and all the CutUps and Cutables featured this week will be available for purchase on November 25.

I know that The Cat Pack are also sheep lovers, so let’s see what they have come up with.

TCP-Sheep-Skate-CO-1114Christine Okken pulls out the Bitty Banners and the Scalloped Square to decorate the front of her card, along with the Double Snowflake. Her card really feels like skating in a public rink, with all the lights, and colors and snow.

TCP-Sheep-Skate-3-CO-1114For the inside of her card, she uses the New PopUp Pivot. to highlight the fact that though the sheep were by the hustle and bustle of the Holidays, they only had eyes for each other. Really sweet.

IMG_9544Kelli Hull stamps up another simple but striking card.  Just color or paper piece the sheep or even add a bit of texture. You don’t need much to make this set shine.

tcpNov14-wonderful time of year flakesNeed to mass produce cards, but still want elegance? Lisa Henke just adds the Double Snowflake CutUps and snowflakes from the Snowflake Lace Paper CutUps, a stamp from this set to some pretty paper and a few sequins and she is done. This set not only has a great pair of sheep but also some terrific sentiments, as well.

-15Wendy McGaffey has the same idea as Lisa. Let the Lacy Snowflake be the star of her card.

-16Until you open it up to the real stars of the card, 3 pairs of skating sheep. She uses the New Basic PopUp to help give dimension to her card. And, with the New Basic PopUp, you can place it anywhere you want your pop up to be.

Now, head on over to our In It To Win It Thread at SplitcoastStampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win this stamp set. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week.

SneakyPeekPeeks_4

It’s Day #4 of Sneaky Peek Week and we are NOW halfway through Sneaky Peek Week. You’ve had a chance to see three of our sets so far, so just 4 more sets (including today’s). Today’s set features two of the penguins. I’m not sure where the third guys is, but I can almost bet he is up to no good. In the meantime, these two guys are enjoying the season and praying for MORE snow.

This set is called “Pray for Snow” and it and all the CutUps and Cutables featured this week will be available for purchase on November 25.

So let’s see what magic The Cat Pack has made.

LT-Pray_for_Snow_Outside

Let’s kick off the Peek with this so, so cute card by Lori Tecler. She used the slope from the Toppers CutUps to make the mountain that this little guy is skiing on. But, where is his brother, you ask?

LT-Pray_For_Snow_InsideWhy he’s skating inside. This stamp set has so many uses, but this one is used with our NEW Popup Pivot CutUps. This CutUps help give movement to the inside of your card. You can actually make it seem like the Penguin is skating. Here’s a video that shows how. And how many ways you can use it.

Want to see another card with this set and PopUp Pivot CutUps?

P1220741-impThis is a super fun card by Noelle McAdams. She’s even managed to get one of the penguins facing the other way. Wonder how she did that? She used the FREE Cutable for this set to cut out the penguins and sentiment on her cutting machine.

P1220746-imp

And on the inside, this sweet penguins skates all by himself. Just too cute.

TCP-Pray-Snow-CO-1114Christine Okken uses the New Triple Step Cutable to give a bit of dimension. And, her glittery icicles are just the perfect touch.

Nancy Thomas Pray for Snow TogetherNancy Thomas creates TWO sweet little cards with this set using a number of our CutUps as die cuts and embossing tools. She layers up the New Double Snowflake CutUps for a lacy treat.

Want to see more of the “Pray for Snow” Stamp Set and our NEW Cutables and CutUps? Then, check out Kelli Hull,  Lisa Henke,  Jessie Rone, Wendy McGaffey and Joyce Casaldi for their take on this set.

SneakyPeekPeeks_03

It’s Day #3 of Sneaky Peek Week and we are already almost halfway through Sneaky Peek week. And, what is a Cat’s Pajamas Release without the Long-Eared Bunny? He’s been getting into a lot of mischief, so we thought we’d give him his own set. This set is called “All is Bright” and it and all the CutUps and Cutables featured this week will be available for purchase on November 25.

Let’s see what trouble he’s been causing The Cat Pack.

-2Wendy McGaffey creates a wonderful, sparkly shaker card. The Bunny is almost like the town Christmas tree in front of the houses from “Home For All Seasons”. The Celebration Topper gives another pop of color.

Nancy Thomas All is Bright Step 2Love this card from Nancy Thomas. She used the NEW Triple Side Step Cutable to make this card really special. The Triple Side Step Cutable makes creating usually time consuming cards easy. Just use your cutting machine to cut the card base AND the mats. Or use the .pdf  if you don’t have a cutting machine. Then have fun decorating.

naughtylistThis prettily colored Bunny brightens up an already bright card. He is such a fun image, you can go traditional, or nontraditional like this card from Jessica Rone.

TCP-Light-Up-CO-1114The best thing about this Bunny is that you can color him as much as you like or as little. Christine Okken colors him so beautifully. I covet his round belly. (Is that weird?)

Want to see more of the “All is Bright” Stamp Set and our NEW Cutables and CutUps? Then, check out Kelli Hull,  Lisa Henke, Lori Tecler, Lyn Wallan- Smith and Joyce Casaldi for their take on this set.

Then, head on over to our In It To Win It Thread at SplitcoastStampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win this stamp set. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week.

SneakyPeekPeeks_02

It’s Day #2 of Sneaky Peek Week and I can’t believe that the Holidays are upon us. This set is called “Home For All Seasons” and it and all the CutUps and Cutables featured this week will be available for purchase on November 25.

This year has been a very challenging year for me. I first started drawing this set with my family in mind. There are three of us children and each of has made a home for ourselves, but every year we spend Thanksgiving and Christmas at my parents house. And that house, filled with our stories and laughter, became our home for those few treasured days because our family is there. Home is not necessarily a place, but where our family is.

P1220731-imp

This set is perfect for all seasons and great for creating “scenes”. Check out this card by Noelle McAdams.  She creates a wonderful village scene using the set, and our NEW Village CutUps Die and NEW Triple Side Step Cutable. It’s easy to create, because this set has 17 different stamps to choose from.

Nancy Thomas TCP Home for All Seasons 1Nancy Thomas creates a soft and beautiful card using the set and something else that is very, very special. Can you guess what it is?

Nancy Thomas TCP Home for All Seasons 3Yes, a popup card! She added the trees from our Holiday Toppers CutUps to our BRAND NEW Basic Popup CutUps. This die can make any card a popup. And, it’s really simple.

Home-smallThis card by Julie Masse truly touched my heart. She and her family are going on a very special journey of their own and his card is just so warm and welcoming. Just like the Masse Family.

tcpNov14-home for holidaysLisa Henke colors up her village and uses the Dots CutUps Die for her background. It almost gives the impression of snow. It’s a truly modern look for  a cozy village.

Want to see more of the “Home For All Seasons” Stamp Set and our NEW Cutables and CutUps? Then, check out Wendy McGaffey, Kelli Hull, Jessie Rone, Christine Okken, Lyn Wallan-Smith and Joyce Casaldi for their take on this set.

SneakyPeekPeeks_01

It’s the very first day of Sneaky Peek Week and who better to start it off than Sprinkle the Cat and her friend, Poochie?

The Holidays are the time for gift-giving and ugly sweaters. And this set is perfect for the season! The sweaters can be colored or paper-pieced. This set and the other stamps and dies shown this week will be available for purchase on Nov 25.

Not ready for the Holidays, yet? This set can be used all year round.

So, let’s see what The Cat Pack has come up with.

tcpNov14-perrrrfect fit

Lisa Henke has the right idea when it comes to ugly sweaters.  She paper pieced her sweater and her card really proves the point that this set can be used year round.

TCP-Scottie-Sweaters-CO-1114Remember, I said that Poochie makes an appearance in this set? His sweater also can be paper pieced, or beautifully colored like Christine Okken does here. And, those pretty snowflakes? They are one of our NEW CutUps.

-5Wendy McGaffey uses Holiday Toppers to create a scene on her card, but the star of the show is Sprinkle. She really makes a statement.

PB180300

Swanky Stamper, Lyn Wallan-Smith shows that with the right stamp and paper, even the simplest cards can be a stand out.

PB180302And, there is even time to do the inside.

P1220748-impNoelle McAdams has ugly sweaters on her mind, as well. Poor Sprinkle tries to maintain a little dignity, while remaining the most well mannered of Kitties. And, who says that snowflakes need to be white? When they are as pretty as these snowflakes, they can be any color they want to be.

Want to see more of the “Official Grinch” Stamp Set and our NEW Cutables and CutUps? Then, check out Nancy Thomas, Kelli Hull, Lori Tecler for their take on this set.

Then, head on over to our In It To Win It Thread at SplitcoastStampers. Just comment in this thread and you could win this stamp set. We are giving away a set a day during Sneaky Peek Week.
