I am the worst at keeping secrets. But, for a couple of months, I’ve been sitting on a doozy! I’ve just been bursting at the seams wanting to tell you that one of my favorite designers is joining The Cat Pack.

jan14a copyWho is it? WENDY BOND! SQUEEEE!

Her bold, yet whimsical style is what first caught my eye. Or… perhaps it was her awesome coloring and color sense. Or, maybe it was the sense of humor that came out in her cards. And on her blog, Bond Girl Bliss. Okay! You got me! It was all of the above. She’s the complete package.

006 copyShe took a little time off from stamping and now she’s Baaaaaaaaccckkkk! And, I’m so glad she is joining us.

Nancy here with the first TCP Tuesday challenge of 2015. As you know, The Cat Pack took the month of December off to be with family during the holidays but we are back in 2015 with a fresh and renewed crafty spirit.

Did you set goals for the year? I did and one of them is to participate in more challenges.  If that is one of your goals too then I hope you will consider the TCP Tuesday challenge.

The details of the challenges remain the same for this year. It is still a two week one and we rotate the challenge types between: Color, Inspiration, Sketch and Anything Goes. The winner (chosen at random) will receive a $10 gift certificate to The Cat’s Pajamas shop and if the winner uses a TCP product, the GC increases to $15.

Let’s see how The Cat Pack interpreted the inspiration photos:

December 2014

I finally got the last order out in the mail from the sale and I realized that I hadn’t announced the Swanky Stamper for December. I apologize for that, but the winner is worth waiting for.

If there is one thing I love, it’s fun and clever card. Like this beauty by Yvonne B. The TCP Tuesday Challenge was to use Kraft, Black and Red in your card. She uses one of our older sets, Candyland Christmas for this card. And, the sledding penguins certainly fit the Challenge. Yvonne added a bit of mirror paper for the glitz and added splashes of white for the glam.  The Holiday Topper  add texture. Just lovely.

3papers

We had so many beautiful cards, I thought that I’d share some with you. This is a simple card from Brenda Nakandakari. Simply wonderful. Stitched paper panels help frame a pretty tag that she stamped using Big, Fat Holiday Greetings.

TCPTUES278_Sparkly_penguin_by_jennik

This sparkly card by Jennik is just wonderful with it’s layers of shining snowflakes and a Penguin that flies in to say “Hello”

TCPTUES280-3_by_andreasscrapsAndrea C. was certainly busy stamping up these sweet cards. Anyone would love to get any one of these, methinks. The Slime/Icicle CutUps adds some sparkly goodness!

December marks a break from the TCP Tuesday Challenges. We know that December is a time for family and creating. And, our stamps and dies and Cutables are Puuurfect for creating. So, add your TCP creation to the Winter Blog Hop Inlinkz button on right. On December 26, we’ll randomly choose a winner of a $50 Gift Certificate.

BlogHop

It’s Tuesday and that means that it’s TCP Tuesday Challenge Day. And, today it’s even more special because it’s Release Day and the start of something NEW. But, first, the TCP Tuesday Challenge.

TCPTUES280_Color Challenge Graphic-1Today’s challenge is a Color Challenge. Nancy is the Hostess with the Mostess for this challenge and she wants you to use Kraft, Red, and Black in your card or project. If you’ve been hanging with us for the past week, you know that TODAY is Release Day. And, that means a Blog Hop. If you’ve come from Kelly‘s Blog then you are at the very last stop. If you haven’t, click on over to Nancy‘s for the start of the Hop.

ADTStepHere is my card. I used the NEW Triple Side Step Cutable for this card and added the houses from the Home For All Seasons stamp set and the Village CutUps. I wanted the house to look like gingerbread, so I stamped in white pigment ink and used white embossing powder. Then I added some White Enamel Accents to the roof line and anywhere I thought snow would be. For the tree line, I used the Holiday Toppers CutUps.

This card came together really fast, mostly because of the Triple Side Step Cutable. You can see what I mean in this video. Once the main pieces where cut, I just had fun decorating.

So, now I have some good news and some more good news.

First, the good news.

Starting today we will be having a month long Blog Hop. And, you can play along. Just use anything TCP and you’re golden. Then, upload your card or project to the inlinkz button on the right side of this blog. On December 26 we’ll announce the winner of a $50 gift voucher. Yup, a little sumpin’ sumpin’ for your Holidays.

Now, the other good news.
