Debbie aka Indy — Swanky Stamper for August

Debbie played along with our TCP Tuesday Sketch challenge and boy am I delighted she did. What better way to use, not one, not two, but THREE of the long eared bunnies on a card. And, what better way to say “Happy Birthday”?

But, Debbie aka Indy’s was not the only wonderful card that caught my eye.

Joyce Casaldi is back stamping and I love this entry using “Fly High

Lyn

And, she wasn’t the only one that the sketch spoke to. Check out this stunning card by Lyn Wallan-Smith using Take Off.

image_1_by_AdelleAdele Priess’ card for our Anything Goes TCP Tuesday Challenge just sparkles! Love that bit of sparkle on that mat.

Ready for a NEW challenge. Check in tomorrow for the BRAND New TCP Tuesday Challenge.

Have you played along with our TCP Tuesday Challenge, yet? This time – “Anything Goes!” So let down your hair and have FUN!

 TCPTuesday-271

Last week, I showed you an an easy watercolor technique using our Simple Blooms set. (All you needed were water soluble markers and a mister.) We watercolored some really pretty flowers for our card.

I could have left the card with the pretty front, but you know me. I’ve gotta gild the lily, so I turned it into an easy pop up card using our Card in the Box Cutable!

So, here is the video on how I did it. It’s SO easy. You’ll be making pop up cards left and right.

Check out the video, then play along with us on the TCP Tuesday Challenge and load up your card on this blog.

You could win a gift certificate up to $15, and qualify for over $100 in prizes, just for by your fingers inky.

TCPTuesday-271

It’s time for another TCP Tuesday Challenge. It’s an easy one for this rotation – “Anything Goes!”

I don’t know about you, but I love challenges where I can do anything. It was my mother’s birthday and I made this card for her. I think it’s perfect for this challenge because she taught me that I really could do anything.

I used an easy watercolor technique using our  Simple Blooms set, water soluble markers and a mister. I love to water color, but I by the time I pull out the paints, paper, water cup towels, etc. I lose interest.

FrontYou know the saying, “Business in the front. Party in the back”? Except this time, the party is in the middle.

Inside3This card opens up to reveal a  Card in the Box Cutable. I just love the way it turned out. So I did a couple of videos showing you how I created this card.

This week is Part One, where I show you the watercolor technique. And, next week, I’ll post Part Two, where we make the inside pop with a Card in the Box Cutable

July 2014

I went to Brenda’s blog and saw that she had posted the Card in a Box using Take Off and I knew THIS was the card that was the winner. Her post was the perfect answer to the Inspiration Challenge.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her use of the “4″ from the Numbers Plate and the floating stars.

There were so many wonderful entries for July that I have to post some of my favorites.

Lyn

LOVE this pretty, pretty card by Lyn Wallan-Smith using Lean on Me.

Debby5

Debby shoots for the stars and hits them with this card using Framed Up, Icing, and Bitty Banners CutUps, not to mention the Aim High stamp set

Christine

Christine Veneruso uses Strange and Wonderful, the Chevron, Petal Posies and the Toppers CutUps for her soft and pretty card.

Brenda

To be honest with you, I chose this card by Brenda as the winner for the Swanky Stamper. I’ve been stamping for close to 15 years and I thought I saw it all. Until, I saw the beautiful flowers that Brenda had fussy cut to dot so beautifully on her netting. I love the pop of color that she added to the Kraft, Cream and Rose Color Challenge. Brenda wins all the Stamps, Dies and Cutables from our next release. And, she did it just by entering our TCP Tuesday. Our last release was over $140 in prizes. You could be next. Just come back tomorrow for the next TCP Tuesday Challenge.
